Félix Fernández de Castro has spent almost half of his lifetime working in advertising, first as a creative, then as a director.
That´s why he likes to think that one of his talents might have to do with getting involved in all the process of the making of commercials, from the idea to the mise en scène.
That might also be the reason why a lot of his works from both sides of the counter, with a particular strength in visuals, have won many national and international awards.
In addition to his work in advertising, he has directed the critically acclaimed documentary “María and I”, finalist in the Goya and Gaudi awards, winner in the REC International Film Festival and the Opera prima section of the Alcine Festival in Alcalá de Henares, and present in the Official Selection in San Sebastian, London BFI, Pu-San, Thessaloniki, New York and Chicago latin film festivals, etc.
Most recently, he directed the short fiction film, “Zebra”, currently touring on national and international film festivals.
